Intervenções educacionais para capacitação da equipe de enfermagem no manejo da hemorragia pós-parto: revisão de escopo

Abstract

Objective: To map the educational interventions described in the literature for training the nursing team in the management of postpartum hemorrhage. Method: A scoping review conducted in accordance with the methodology proposed by the Joanna Briggs Institute. The search was carried out in the Medical Literature Analysis and Retrieval System Online, Cumulative Index to Nursing and Allied Health Literature, Web of Science, Excerpta Medica Database, Nursing Database, and Latin American and Caribbean Health Sciences Literature databases. Studies involving nursing team professionals that addressed educational interventions focused on postpartum hemorrhage management were included. Primary and secondary studies were included, with no restrictions regarding language, methodological design, or publication period. Data were analyzed using the data reduction method. Results: Fifteen (15) studies published between 2010 and 2026 were included. Quasi-experimental studies predominated, with the United States standing out. The educational interventions identified were grouped into four categories: clinical simulation, educational technologies, practical education, and low-cost simulators. The studies demonstrated improvements in professionals’ knowledge, clinical skills, self-confidence, teamwork, and decision-making. Conclusion: Educational interventions focused on postpartum hemorrhage management proved relevant for strengthening the competencies of the nursing team, particularly strategies based on clinical simulation and educational technologies. The findings may support the planning of continuing education initiatives and contribute to improving the quality of obstetric care.
