<title>MQTT Over QUIC: Comparison with TCP and TCP+TLS in a Virtualized IoT Environment</title>
<link>https://repositorio.ifpe.edu.br/xmlui/handle/123456789/2199</link>
<description>MQTT Over QUIC: Comparison with TCP and TCP+TLS in a Virtualized IoT Environment
IoT applications require reliable, efficient, and secure&#13;
communication due to their distributed and resourceconstrained&#13;
nature. Message Queuing Telemetry Transport&#13;
(MQTT) is widely adopted in these environments for its&#13;
lightweight design, requiring minimal resources and optimizing&#13;
network bandwidth. However, it still faces performance issues&#13;
due to TCP and Transport Layer Security (TLS) overhead.&#13;
Quick UDP Internet Connections (QUIC) has emerged as a&#13;
promising alternative to improve communication performance.&#13;
However, existing performance studies lack evaluations of MQTT&#13;
over QUIC under low latency and unstable network conditions.&#13;
This paper compares the performance of MQTT over QUIC,&#13;
TCP, and TCP+TLS in a virtualized IoT environment. The&#13;
performance evaluation follows a well-established approach and&#13;
analyses latency and connection establishment time as key metrics&#13;
under stable and unstable conditions. Results highlight the&#13;
potential of QUIC as an efficient and secure alternative for IoT&#13;
communication.

<title>Proposta de infraestrutura de software para serviço de processamento de clickstream</title>
<link>https://repositorio.ifpe.edu.br/xmlui/handle/123456789/2198</link>
<description>Proposta de infraestrutura de software para serviço de processamento de clickstream
In today's digital landscape, analyzing user behavior has become essential for&#13;
product optimization, but implementing a clickstream infrastructure to collect and&#13;
process data in real time is a significant technical challenge. The problem lies in the&#13;
complexity and high cost, which limits access to this technology, especially for small&#13;
and medium-sized enterprises. Therefore, the objective of this work is to propose the&#13;
development of a service platform for recording and analyzing user interactions in&#13;
digital environments, known as clickstream, that is accessible and easy to integrate,&#13;
eliminating the need for companies to build an infrastructure from scratch. To achieve&#13;
this objective, the methodology was based on three main components: a Kafka Topic&#13;
Management Infrastructure, a Template for Integration with front-end Applications,&#13;
and Detailed Documentation. As a result, the platform, named&#13;
MG-ClickStream-Manager, was developed to enable the collection, processing, and&#13;
analysis of click events, facilitating data-driven decision-making. In conclusion, the&#13;
project shows potential to simplify implementation and democratize access to&#13;
clickstream analytics, allowing developers to focus on analysis and decision-making&#13;
without worrying about infrastructure complexity, thus promoting a more efficient&#13;
development ecosystem.

<title>Booked, a livraria virtual que conecta leitores a autores independentes: implementação do front-end mobile do aplicativo booked com react native</title>

<description>Booked, a livraria virtual que conecta leitores a autores independentes: implementação do front-end mobile do aplicativo booked com react native
This study aims to document the development of the mobile front-end of the Booked&#13;
application, a platform designed to foster interaction between readers and&#13;
independent authors in the digital environment. Considering the growth of literary&#13;
content consumption on mobile devices and the expansion of online reading&#13;
communities, the project proposed a technological solution that integrates reading,&#13;
interaction, and visibility within a single environment. The development was carried&#13;
out using React Native, TypeScript, and Expo, adopting a layered architecture with&#13;
separation between interface, state management logic, services, and visual&#13;
standardization. Global state management was implemented through the Context&#13;
API, combined with a unidirectional data flow to ensure structural organization and&#13;
predictability. UX/UI, usability, and accessibility principles were also applied. The&#13;
process was guided by the Scrum framework, allowing the iterative and incremental&#13;
evolution of functionalities. As a result, a functional mobile application was&#13;
developed, featuring multiple screens, API integration, real-time communication, and&#13;
a modular architecture aligned with best practices in mobile development.

<description>Improov: uma ferramenta de auxílio no processo de ensino autodidata - registro de software, desenvolvimento e implantação.
This report aims to describe the software development and registration &#13;
process for the Improov application, which was created using the PHP programming &#13;
language, the Laravel framework, MySQL database, and integration with the Github &#13;
API, as a prerequisite for obtaining a degree in Internet Systems Technology. During &#13;
the course, we developed a project aimed at assisting the self-directed learning of &#13;
beginner students in the technology field through a gamified platform. During &#13;
development, we contributed to several stages of the process, such as: target &#13;
audience analysis and research, prototyping, layout and source code development, &#13;
and software deployment on a cloud platform service.
