Diálogos entre a licenciatura em música e a gestão cultural
In this study, I sought to investigate the dialogues between the Degree in Music and cultural management, with the aim of understanding how the knowledge acquired in the initial training of music teachers is linked to actions in the field of public cultural management in two municipalities in the Agreste region of Pernambuco. As specific objectives, I tried to describe actions and projects developed in cultural management processes and identify the mobilization, direct or indirect, of knowledge and skills acquired in the initial training of music teachers to deal with processes and projects in cultural management. This study was developed from two methodological proposals: autoethnography and case study. However, both can be seen here as case studies, as long as one takes into account that one of the cases concerns my experience as a music student and cultural manager, while the other case was studied from the experience of an alumnus of the Degree in Music at IFPE – Belo Jardim campus, Professor X, who also started to act as cultural manager. The results presented show that it is possible to manage culturally from knowledge acquired in a Degree in Music. However, the study also made clear the deficit in the training of cultural managers. In the context of this investigation, I understand that cultural managers who graduated from a Degree in Music tend to reframe a portion of the knowledge and skills experienced in the initial training (of teachers), adapting them to new situations in their cultural management function. Finally, I understand that it is possible to be a music educator and manage culturally, because music, education and culture are interconnected. But I emphasize that there is a lot to be done so that cultural managers and music teachers have the necessary training to act in the contemporary world.

O trompete no frevo: um estudo multicaso sobre os padrões interpretativos utilizados pelos trompetistas do gênero
This study aims to investigate the interpretative patterns used by three trumpeters during frevo performances, analyzing different contexts of performance and instrumental formations. The research adopted the multi-case study methodology and was conducted with trumpeters who play frevo in different contexts. Thus, we identified both recurrences and variations in interpretative patterns, which depended on the subgenre and the experience or professional/academic training of the interviewees. Given the growing interest in research on frevo and its relevance, this work aims to contribute to the teaching and performance of the trumpet in popular music.

A arte de cuidar: significados sobre o uso da música na atuação profissional da APAE

A arte de cuidar: significados sobre o uso da música na atuação profissional da APAE
This study aimed to understand the meanings attributed to the use of music by professionals at a local APAE unit. To achieve this, four professionals who incorporate music into their practices, despite lacking formal musical training, were selected. Cultural Semiotic Psychology served as the theoretical foundation of the study. Data collection involved semi-structured interviews to identify and analyze the meanings attributed to music, along with a document analysis to assess the alignment of these perceptions with institutional guidelines. The results indicate that music is integrated into professional practices in multiple ways, both in education and health promotion. The main meanings attributed to music include its role as a promoter of social interaction, a pedagogical resource, entertainment, a tool for sensory stimulation, an emotional regulator, a psychotherapeutic resource, a facilitator of speech development, a mediator in the therapeutic bonding process, and a multidimensional therapeutic intervention tool. The findings reinforce that, although the meanings attributed to music by APAE professionals align with their practices, the lack of technical training limits its use, highlighting the importance of a qualified professional to maximize its benefits.

Transformações e permanências nas práticas docentes e performáticas de músicos-professores após a licenciatura em música
This research aimed to identify the continuities, discontinuities, and re-significations in the teaching and performance practices of graduates from the Music Teaching Degree at IFPE – Belo Jardim Campus. The study was conducted through semi structured interviews with graduates and used Cultural Semiotic Psychology as the
theoretical framework, which addresses the construction of meanings as a dynamic process mediated by cultural signs. The results indicate that the teaching and performance practices of the graduates involve processes of ruptures, transitions, continuity, and discontinuity, reflecting the complexity of these professionals' trajectories after graduation. The research contributes to understanding the changes and continuities in the practices of musician-teachers, providing valuable insights for professional formation and performance in Music Education
