The study used the field research technique, of an exploratory nature. The data collection procedures included the application of a semi-structured questionnaire and documental analysis of the lattes curriculum to 29 teachers from the IFPE-Campus Barreiros. In this investigation, it was found that universities still do not prepare (initial training) teachers for the use of TDIC. It was found that most teachers have limitations regarding the use of TDIC, in particular, the use of podcasts, educational software and social networks. Due to its abundance, researchers have been taking advantage of this biomass for numerous applications, such as energy and environmental sustainability. The work aims to provide an opportunity to discuss energy conversions, explaining the types of energy involved in the process, the need to feed the system and the efficiency in energy use, thus promoting an awareness of the rational use of energy and a discussion about various types of energy conversion in a common system in the student's daily life. The methodology used here is based on an investigative proposal in the analysis of obtaining the biofuel based on sugarcane and the generation of energy with sugarcane bagasse. This investigation will be developed at Colégio Municipal Adauto Caricio - Belém de Maria - PE, in the 9th Year of Elementary School II. The research presented in this work was developed using the bibliographic study procedures, with data collection by the bibliometric technique. According to the results found in this study, BCA can be used in various applications such as adsorbent, ion exchange resin, briquettes, ceramics, concrete, cement and polymeric composites.
