Cristo Redentor de Cumaru: Cultura e desenvolvimento para o turismo
The undergraduate thesis (TCC) covers an overview of the current cultural tourism scenario and how the receptive use of facilities at the Christ the Redeemer monument in Cumaru, Pernambuco, occurs. This monument holds strong cultural and touristic potential and holds significant importance for the community. The aim is to create a space that serves the public both for tourists and, most importantly, for residents to engage in activities related to education, culture, religion, leisure, and recreation within a green and sustainable environment. The revitalization of damaged structures and the addition of tourist facilities will contribute to restoring citizens' pride in the city's iconic landmark. This transformation will shift it from a marginalized space due to neglect to a place that reinforces local knowledge and experiences. The research follows an exploratory approach, delimited by analyzing the Christ monument and its surroundings. This involves collecting data about the current structures through site visits and photographic documentation to better understand its operations and visitation patterns. The study also incorporates qualitative research, utilizing governmental data, bibliographical and documentary sources, and drawing inspiration from the Christ the King monument in Itaporanga, Paraíba. This serves as a reference for structuring a tourism approach that emphasizes and promotes local culture. The research also draws upon the guidelines provided in the document "Cultural Tourism: Basic Guidelines" (2010), 3rd edition, revised in 2020, as a foundation for planning and development.

Criação do espaço cultural da cidade de São Bento do Una.
Tourism has contributed significantly to the economic aspect, but it can also bring
social gains. In this sense, it is possible that in cities where the tourist flow is not
intense, alternatives can be sought to boost the local economy in addition to
safeguarding aspects of local culture. Given this, this work began with the following
question: how could a cultural center bring economic and social benefits to residents
of the city of São Bento do Una/PE? In the methodology of this work, non probabilistic sampling was used, using the snowball technique to access the public of
interest for the research, in addition to bibliographical research, questionnaires were
applied using Google Forms, with the target audience of the research. The research
results showed that there is public interest in creating a cultural space in the city of
São Bento do Una. In view of this, it is concluded that a Cultural Space in the city of
São Bento do Una could enable, in addition to publicity, an increase in local tourism.

Passos históricos : revelando o Recife antigo das tampas de bueiro
This study was carried out based on an analysis of manhole covers, elements that
are often underestimated in the urban landscape, but are fundamental to global
urban infrastructure, highlighting their potential as cultural artifacts, highlighting their
adaptation, relevance for sanitation and their representation in the identity of the city.
region. In this context, the proposal aims to integrate manhole covers not only as an
attraction, but as a tool for preserving historical heritage and enhancing local culture.
In the work area, many cast iron lids were found, demonstrating the artistic work that
these pieces represent and tell from the point of view of the history of some important
companies in the construction of the infrastructure of the city of Recife. Pam Korum,
Indústrias Montalbam, Companhia Energia de Pernambuco, Companhia
Pernambucana de Saneamento and Afer Industrial are worth highlighting. Distributed
in the study area, which in this work was concentrated in the neighborhood of Recife,
Recife Antigo is the stage for various cultural and artistic manifestations that in a
certain way intertwine with the urban architecture of its houses and this very
unnoticed element that are the covers of manholes, present in all major cities in the
world. Articulated and other plug-in models were identified, some with greater detail,
but all in perfect condition of historical conservation. This tour may awaken in some
travelers the desire to seek in these elements part of the justifications for the reality
of how each city is today, based on the policies employed in the companies
responsible for implementing these covers. Recife has a multiple history, told in
different ways and richly explained by this element, which should be more valued and
preserved.

Airport is one of the main gateways to the northeast of Brazil, receiving thousands of
tourists annually. The proposal for an airport hotel aims to meet the needs of travelers
and create a new standard of convenience for passengers in transit. The research
analyzes the economic, environmental and social aspects of this project, considering
the potential increase in the flow of passengers and the revenue associated with
accommodation, food and trade services. In addition, environmental impacts, such as
sustainable resource management, and social benefits, such as the creation of direct
and indirect jobs in the region, are examined.
