The Várzea neighborhood presents significant tourism potential due to its historical&#13;
relevance, cultural attractions, and the diversity of elements capable of serving both&#13;
residents and visitors. In this context, this work proposes the inclusion of the&#13;
neighborhood in the city's tourist circuit, with the aim of increasing its visibility,&#13;
stimulating visitation, and promoting the appreciation of its historical, cultural, social,&#13;
and economic aspects. The research was developed in stages. Initially, information&#13;
was gathered about the characteristics of the neighborhood and its main attractions.&#13;
Then, online questionnaires were applied to residents and visitors to understand their&#13;
perceptions of the place. Questionnaires were also applied to merchants and&#13;
representatives of cultural groups, seeking to analyze their perspectives on the area's&#13;
touristification process. Based on the data obtained, a program proposal was&#13;
developed, composed of activities, workshops, and tourist itineraries aimed at the local&#13;
and visiting public. In addition, potential supporters were identified, and a schedule&#13;
was structured to make the proposal viable. In conclusion, the project can contribute&#13;
to strengthening tourism practices in the neighborhood, promoting income generation,&#13;
stimulating local commerce, creating jobs, and valuing cultural heritage. Thus, the&#13;
initiative seeks to boost local development through tourism, benefiting the community&#13;
and enhancing its historical and cultural resources.

<link>https://repositorio.ifpe.edu.br/xmlui/handle/123456789/2294</link>
This Final Course Project aims to develop a walking tour in the center of Recife, Pernambuco, seeking to value and celebrate the Manguebeat Movement, recognized as an intangible cultural heritage of Pernambuco. The project was conceived as a proposal for inclusion in the Olha! Recife tourism awareness program, aiming to expand the offer of cultural itineraries and strengthen the dissemination of the city's cultural heritage. For its development, an exploratory and descriptive research approach was carried out, based on a bibliographic review of definitions and types of tourism, as well as the Olha! Recife program and the history of Manguebeat. The methodology also included the application of an online questionnaire, disseminated using the "snowball" technique, reaching 127 participants from the Recife Metropolitan Region (RMR). The data were organized into three axes: the respondents' profile, interest in cultural itineraries, and relationship with Manguebeat. The results reveal that the surveyed public demonstrates great interest in cultural experiences and recognizes Manguebeat as a significant part of Recife's identity. Based on the diagnosis, a route was developed that includes sculptures, monuments, and the Chico Science Memorial, promoting an immersion in the history and references of the Movement. Thus, it was possible to conclude that the route can strengthen cultural identity, expand the offer of cultural tourism, and favor the preservation and dissemination of the legacy of the Manguebeat Movement in the city of Recife.

In tourism communication processes, there is a direct dependence on the circulation of clear, accessible, and understandable information for visitors. When these processes are not inclusive, specific groups, such as deaf individuals, end up facing difficulties that limit their autonomy and compromise their tourism experience. In the context of Recife, the Tourist Information Centers (TICs), more specifically those managed by Pernambuco Tourism Company (EMPETUR), represent strategic points for reception, guidance, and mediation of information, especially in high-traffic locations. In these TICs, gaps related to accessibility are noticeable, whether due to the lack of staff training or the absence of materials that facilitate communication with deaf visitors. Given this scenario, the present study aims to create strategies focused on serving deaf individuals. As methodological procedures, a literature review, direct observation, document analysis, and interviews were conducted. As a result, a structured proposal is presented that can guide future actions in the field of tourism and accessibility. It is expected to contribute to strengthening actions in communicational inclusion within tourism services, expanding the autonomy of deaf tourists, and promoting a more welcoming, efficient service aligned with accessibility principles.

This work proposes the development of a pilot project for an inclusive event aimed at blind and low-vision children at Parque da Jaqueira, located in the city of Recife. The objective is to plan a playful initiative that promotes inclusive tourism and social integration among blind, low-vision and non-disabled children through recreational and cultural activities based on multisensory stimuli. Supported by professionals specialized in leisure and inclusion, the project aims to ensure the fulfillment of children’s rights. The research is justified by the scarcity of leisure initiatives directed at children with visual impairments in the capital of Pernambuco, especially in public social spaces. In this sense it highlights the importance of expanding inclusion practices beyond the school environment to include urban spaces such as parks and recreation areas. The methodology consists of qualitative research, of an exploratory and descriptive nature, grounded in a literature review on accessible tourism and social inclusion, in addition to the development of an operational plan for the event. As a result, it is expected to contribute to the strengthening of inclusive tourism practices and the promotion of access for visually impaired children to leisure activities in the city’s public spaces.
