<title>Modelo primary nursing como estratégia de integração entre gestão e assistência em enfermagem: revisão de escopo</title>
<link>https://repositorio.ifpe.edu.br/xmlui/handle/123456789/2264</link>
<description>Modelo primary nursing como estratégia de integração entre gestão e assistência em enfermagem: revisão de escopo
The Primary Nursing model, conceived by nurse Marie Manthey, is patient-centered and&#13;
seeks to integrate nursing care delivery and management through the nurse's continuous&#13;
accountability for planning, executing, and evaluating care throughout the entire&#13;
hospitalization period. The objective was to map available scientific evidence regarding the&#13;
application of Primary Nursing as a strategy for integrating nursing care delivery and&#13;
management. This study is a scoping review conducted in accordance with JBI&#13;
recommendations, utilizing the PCC strategy to formulate the guiding question and the&#13;
PRISMA-ScR guidelines. Searches were performed in the Web of Science, Scopus, IBECS,&#13;
MEDLINE/PubMed, CINAHL, EMBASE, and LILACS databases, covering studies published&#13;
between 2016 and 2026. After applying eligibility criteria, eleven studies conducted in&#13;
Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Portugal, and Brazil comprised the final sample. The findings&#13;
indicate that Primary Nursing contributes to continuity of care by fostering work&#13;
organization, strengthening clinical leadership, improving inter-team communication,&#13;
reducing missed care, and enhancing the quality of care delivery. It is concluded that Primary&#13;
Nursing holds significant potential to strengthen the integration of nursing care delivery and&#13;
management, promoting patient-centered care, professional autonomy, and the quality of&#13;
healthcare services.

<title>Impacto multidimensional na qualidade de vida relacionada à saúde em pacientes com dor crônica</title>
<link>https://repositorio.ifpe.edu.br/xmlui/handle/123456789/2256</link>
<description>Impacto multidimensional na qualidade de vida relacionada à saúde em pacientes com dor crônica
Objective: To analyze the multidimensional impact of chronic pain on health-related quality&#13;
of life in patients, comparing the repercussions between diagnoses and genders. Method:&#13;
Exploratory clinical study conducted with 17 individuals with chronic pain. Quality of life&#13;
was assessed using the Medical Outcomes Study 36-Item Short-Form Health Survey (SF-36)&#13;
questionnaire. Results: The sample was predominantly female (70.6%), with a mean age of&#13;
51.8 years and a higher prevalence of fibromyalgia (70.6%). The lowest mean scores for&#13;
quality of life were observed in the domains of physical functioning limitations (19.1),&#13;
emotional aspects (27.4), and pain (28.1). There was a statistically significant difference in the&#13;
vitality domain when comparing diagnoses (p = 0.044), with higher impairment in&#13;
fibromyalgia. In the gender comparison, a significant difference was identified in the mental&#13;
health domain (p = 0.013), revealing worse psychological scores in females. Conclusion: Chronic pain severely compromises quality of life in a multidimensional manner. Vitality is&#13;
more affected in fibromyalgia, and mental health shows gender disparity, reinforcing the need&#13;
for interdisciplinary and humanized intervention programs in managing these conditions.

<title>Aplicação da neuromodulação não invasiva no manejo da dor crônica em serviços ambulatoriais: protocolo de revisão de escopo</title>
<link>https://repositorio.ifpe.edu.br/xmlui/handle/123456789/2255</link>
<description>Aplicação da neuromodulação não invasiva no manejo da dor crônica em serviços ambulatoriais: protocolo de revisão de escopo
Chronic pain is a major public health problem associated with functional,&#13;
psychological, social, and economic impacts, requiring safe and effective therapeutic&#13;
strategies for its management. In this context, non-invasive neuromodulation has&#13;
emerged as a promising alternative, although evidence regarding its use in outpatient&#13;
care remains scattered throughout the literature. This study aims to map the&#13;
available evidence on non-invasive neuromodulation techniques used in the&#13;
management of chronic pain in outpatient settings. This is a revisão de escopo&#13;
protocol developed according to the methodological recommendations of the Joanna&#13;
Briggs Institute (JBI) and structured in accordance with the Preferred Reporting Items&#13;
for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses extension for Revisão de escopos&#13;
(PRISMA-ScR). Searches will be conducted in the PubMed/MEDLINE, Virtual Health&#13;
Library (VHL), CINAHL, Scopus, Embase, Web of Science, and LILACS databases, as&#13;
well as in gray literature sources, including the Brazilian Digital Library of Theses and&#13;
Dissertations (BDTD), ProQuest, and Google Scholar. Study selection will be&#13;
performed by independent reviewers using the Rayyan software, and data will be&#13;
extracted using a standardized instrument. The expected results include identifying&#13;
and characterizing the non-invasive neuromodulation techniques used in the&#13;
management of chronic pain in outpatient settings, as well as describing their&#13;
application protocols, barriers to implementation, and knowledge gaps. It is&#13;
concluded that this protocol will provide methodological support for the development&#13;
of the revisão de escopo, contributing to the organization of scientific evidence,&#13;
&#13;
strengthening evidence-based clinical practice, and guiding future research on non-&#13;
invasive neuromodulation in outpatient care.

<description>Tecnologia assistiva: panorama das patentes nacionais e internacionais de órteses e próteses de hálux
Objective: To map the state of the art regarding hallux orthoses and prostheses&#13;
registered in patent databases, focusing on materials, functionalities, and the&#13;
application of additive manufacturing. Methodology: An exploratory documentary&#13;
study with a quantitative approach, conducted through a prior art search in national&#13;
and international patent databases. Results: A total of 73 hallux-related devices&#13;
were identified during the database Search 63 orthoses and 10 prostheses with only&#13;
3 patents involving 3D printing. Conclusion: The findings indicate that, despite the&#13;
technological potential, there is still limited adoption of additive manufacturing in the&#13;
healthcare sector, representing a significant gap for innovation. The current technological landscape underscores the need to encourage research and&#13;
development of low-cost solutions, focusing on expanding access, fostering social&#13;
inclusion, and improving the quality of life for individuals with functional impairments&#13;
or hallux amputation.
