Educação financeira e o nível de endividamento de acadêmicos do IFPE campus Igarassu
This research investigates the influence of financial education on preventing youth debt,
focused on students at IFPE Campus Igarassu. The objective is to understand how financial
knowledge impacts consumption habits and debts among young people. The qualitative,
exploratory and descriptive approach involved students aged 15 to 29, selected through
intentional sampling. Data collection was carried out using a structured questionnaire with 24
questions, administered in person via Google Forms to 109 students, and semi-structured
focus group interviews with 9 students, carried out remotely via Zoom. Interview data was
analyzed using thematic content analysis, identifying relevant patterns. The results reveal a
relationship between financial literacy and indebtedness, indicating that students with greater
financial knowledge have better control over their finances and are less prone to debt.
Additionally, participants with conservative attitudes toward credit reported less debt. The
findings highlight the importance of financial education in preventing youth debt and suggest
the implementation of mandatory programs in educational institutions to improve financial
literacy and promote responsible consumption behaviors.

Desafios da profissionalização em uma empresa familiar: um estudo de caso
The professionalization of management in family businesses represents a significant
challenge due to the need to adapt to contemporary market demands. In this context, this
study aimed to analyze the impacts of management professionalization in the family business
DMA Produtos Alimentícios LTDA, located in the Metropolitan Region of Recife. The
research was characterized as applied, with a quali-quantitative nature, adopting an
exploratory and descriptive approach, developed through a case study. For data collection,
structured questionnaires were applied to employees, in addition to the use of managerial
tools such as the GUT Matrix and the 5W2H method, which enabled the identification,
prioritization, and proposal of solutions for the main organizational weaknesses. The results
showed that the lack of process standardization, failures in internal communication, and
informality in decision-making compromise organizational performance. The application of
managerial tools enabled the establishment of strategic actions aimed at improving processes,
strengthening management, and promoting greater operational efficiency. It is concluded that
the professionalization of management significantly contributes to administrative
organization, improvement of business performance, and sustainability of family businesses,
reinforcing the importance of adopting structured managerial practices as an essential factor
for competitiveness and longevity.

Sobrecarga versus satisfação no trabalho: Uma análise da relação e seus impactos entre gestoras e gestores em um campus de um Instituto Federal.
Considering the importance of public managers' role in the efficient management of
resources and the quality of services provided to the community, this study focuses on
work overload versus job satisfaction, focusing on the impacts experienced by
managers on a Federal Institute campus. The objective was to use a qualitative
approach to understand the perception of the factors that generate work overload and
analyze how these aspects influence satisfaction and quality of life at work. The study
involved the participation of 17 managers, representing approximately 85% of the total
number of leaders working on the campus, of different age groups and genders. Data
collection was conducted through interviews and a questionnaire, which enabled a
detailed mapping of the conditions faced in the performance of managerial position.
The study is descriptive in nature, focus on identifying the factors that lead to work
overload and how these factors impact the satisfaction and well-being of these
professionals. The results revealed that work overload is a systemic phenomenon,
intensified by human resource scarcity, excessive bureaucracy, and budgetary
constraints. An inverse relationship was found between work overload and satisfaction,
although intrinsic factors, such as a sense of purpose and interpersonal relationships,
support partial levels of satisfaction. Severe impacts on physical and mental health,
such as chronic stress, anxiety, and burnout, were also highlighted, with greater
severity among female managers due to the accumulation of family demands. It is
concluded that organizational factors are primarily responsible for work overload, and
that satisfaction is maintained by relational and individual factors, not by institutional
support.

A influência do marketing digital nas decisões de compra dos estudantes universitários: um estudo no IFPE - Campus Igarassu

A influência do marketing digital nas decisões de compra dos estudantes universitários: um estudo no IFPE - Campus Igarassu
This study examines the impact of digital marketing on social media on the purchasing decisions of university students at IFPE - Igarassu Campus. The research employs a mixed-methods approach, combining a bibliographical survey with a questionnaire administered to 207 students in Management and Technology programs. The results reveal that social media exerts a significant influence on consumer behavior, with Instagram
being the most widely used platform. Reviews from other consumers, demonstration videos, and frequency of exposure to ads were identified as determining factors in purchasing decisions. Although they consider the opinions of digital influencers, participants appear to trust reviews from ordinary consumers more. Promotions, brand reputation, and browsing safety also stand out as decisive factors. The research concludes that digital marketing is a strategic tool in the social media environment, and it is essential that companies prioritize credibility, personalization, transparency, and attention to the consumer’s final experience, considering that reviews from other consumers directly influence their purchasing behavior. Finally, we suggest expanding the
study to other institutions and analyzing the impact of new digital platforms on consumer behavior.
