Uso de Tecnologias Digitais de Informação e Comunicação por Docentes do Instituto Federal de Pernambuco – Campus Barreiros: Da formação à atuação docente The aim of this study was to verify whether initial or continuing teacher education prepares teachers for the proper use of TDIC in the classroom. The study used the field research technique, of an exploratory nature. The data collection procedures included the application of a semi-structured questionnaire and documental analysis of the lattes curriculum to 29 teachers from the IFPE-Campus Barreiros. In this investigation, it was found that universities still do not prepare (initial training) teachers for the use of TDIC. It was found that most teachers have limitations regarding the use of TDIC, in particular, the use of podcasts, educational software and social networks. Additionally, the professors recognize the importance of using TDIC, and claim to be available to carry out ongoing training courses.

Estequiometria e verificação do efeito da concentração e temperatura na velocidade das reações através de atividades investigativas The present study aims to develop, apply and enable investigative didactic sequences, for the first and second years of high school, with the contents stoichiometry and chemical kinetics, respectively. The proposal of investigative practices, whether of a practical or theoretical nature, aims to arouse interest and motivation in the student, so that he is the protagonist of the teaching-learning process, that he is the one who formulates hypotheses, organizes ideas, seeks explanations and justifies, and in addition to everything understands that science is dynamic, it is in continuous construction. Therefore, this study aimed to achieve desirable learning and foster engagement and willingness to learn with this type of approach.

Caminhos Sustentáveis: Técnica de Compostagem na Produção de Adubo Natural como Ferramenta Potencializadora em uma turma do 9o ano do Ensino Fundamental II This article aims to analyze, through a didactic sequence, the use of natural fertilizer with 9th-grade students at the Severino Francisco da Silva Full-Time Municipal School, focusing on composting and its applications while highlighting its advantages over traditional chemical fertilizers. Natural fertilizer, derived from organic materials, can improve soil quality and enhance local agricultural productivity compared to chemical fertilizers. At the same time, it reduces environmental impacts and promotes sustainable agricultural practices. In terms of sustainability, the environmental practices involved can yield outcomes such as local environmental conservation. Economically, it leads to cost reduction and greater savings. During the investigative class on compost production, students discovered the environmental importance of sustainability and enjoyed a more engaging lesson through hands-on experimentation. They found practical learning to be both enjoyable and informative, especially as they learned how to rejuvenate soils depleted by chemical fertilizers, thereby helping both nature and farmers. The students can demonstrate to the school how natural fertilizers are a sustainable and more affordable option.
