This research addresses the application of process management in monitoring non-mandatory internships in a professional training institution, with the aim of proposing process mapping and the agile Kanban methodology to improve the management of internship activities. The study is characterized as an exploratory case study, with a qualitative approach, carried out in the internship sector of the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Pernambuco - Campus Igarassu. To develop the proposal, existing procedures were analyzed, the workflow was mapped and the principles of Kanban were applied as a tool for visual organization and monitoring of activities, with the aim of increasing the predictability and efficiency of the processes of formalizing the students' academic internship. The results showed that the integration of these practices favors the standardization of activities, the organization of information, the control of deliveries and the improvement of the workflow, contributing to greater efficiency in the management of internships and improving the internal organization of the sector.

This paper presents a project that is situated at the intersection
between education and extension. The project applied a unique perspective
based on the hypothesis that educational materials about programming
created for freshman students can be adapted to promote awareness about
Information Technology courses. Given that, a methodology was developed
using concepts of Computer Science, Education and Design to adapt existing
materials, such as code samples, and create new materials, such as a book.
The empirical results showed that more than 250 freshman students and 1300
individuals outside the Campus were impacted, which can be interpreted as
evidence that our hypothesis appears to be true.

Aplicação das ferramentas da qualidade para a melhoria de processos : Estudo de caso de uma indústria na região metropolitana do Recife.
This article analyzes the growing importance of quality in industrial production
within a context of globalization and high market competitiveness. A significant
transition is observed from a focus on process control to prioritizing customer needs,
emphasizing the application of quality tools and standards such as ISO 22000 to
ensure food quality and safety. The research focuses on analyzing consumer
complaints in a food industry located in Pernambuco, Brazil, aiming to identify root
causes and develop solutions through the application of quality tools. The study
seeks to highlight the relevance of these tools in problem identification and resolution
processes, as well as their contribution to effective control of the production process.

Análise das boas práticas de fabricação de um açougue de Goiana-PE.
This study aims to propose an action plan based on the 5W1H methodology to
support the sanitary adequacy of the butcher shop Carnes & Frios, managed by the
Department of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Environment, located in the Public Market
of Goiana-PE. The research followed a qualitative and descriptive approach,
developed from a case study, with the application of a checklist adapted to ANVISA’s
requirements (RDC 216/2004), containing specific criteria of Good Manufacturing
Practices (GMP). Data were collected through direct on-site observation and
interviews with employees. The diagnostic analysis revealed that 61.5% of the
evaluated items were non-compliant, highlighting deficiencies in essential
requirements such as facility hygiene, pest control, food handling, use of Personal
Protective Equipment (PPE), traceability of purchases, waste disposal, and potable
water usage. The absence of the Good Practices Manual and the lack of training for
food handlers were identified as the most critical issues. In response, a practical,
easy-to-implement, and low-cost action plan was developed, structured on the 5W1H
method. The proposal aims to promote structural and operational improvements in
the establishment, contributing to food safety, reducing sanitary risks, and ensuring
compliance with legal standards. Although theoretical, the proposal may serve as a
reference for public managers and small businesses.
