MQTT Over QUIC: Comparison with TCP and TCP+TLS in a Virtualized IoT Environment
IoT applications require reliable, efficient, and secure
communication due to their distributed and resourceconstrained
nature. Message Queuing Telemetry Transport
(MQTT) is widely adopted in these environments for its
lightweight design, requiring minimal resources and optimizing
network bandwidth. However, it still faces performance issues
due to TCP and Transport Layer Security (TLS) overhead.
Quick UDP Internet Connections (QUIC) has emerged as a
promising alternative to improve communication performance.
However, existing performance studies lack evaluations of MQTT
over QUIC under low latency and unstable network conditions.
This paper compares the performance of MQTT over QUIC,
TCP, and TCP+TLS in a virtualized IoT environment. The
performance evaluation follows a well-established approach and
analyses latency and connection establishment time as key metrics
under stable and unstable conditions. Results highlight the
potential of QUIC as an efficient and secure alternative for IoT
communication.

Proposta de infraestrutura de software para serviço de processamento de clickstream
In today's digital landscape, analyzing user behavior has become essential for
product optimization, but implementing a clickstream infrastructure to collect and
process data in real time is a significant technical challenge. The problem lies in the
complexity and high cost, which limits access to this technology, especially for small
and medium-sized enterprises. Therefore, the objective of this work is to propose the
development of a service platform for recording and analyzing user interactions in
digital environments, known as clickstream, that is accessible and easy to integrate,
eliminating the need for companies to build an infrastructure from scratch. To achieve
this objective, the methodology was based on three main components: a Kafka Topic
Management Infrastructure, a Template for Integration with front-end Applications,
and Detailed Documentation. As a result, the platform, named
MG-ClickStream-Manager, was developed to enable the collection, processing, and
analysis of click events, facilitating data-driven decision-making. In conclusion, the
project shows potential to simplify implementation and democratize access to
clickstream analytics, allowing developers to focus on analysis and decision-making
without worrying about infrastructure complexity, thus promoting a more efficient
development ecosystem.

This study analyzes the Academic Retention Program at IFPE Igarassu Campus, focusing on
the difficulties in monitoring student attendance and proposing management improvements.
Using a qualitative approach and case study, interviews, observations, and institutional
documents were used. The lack of a structured monitoring system was identified, hindering
the analysis of attendance and performance. Using the 5 Whys and 5W2H tools, an action
plan was proposed to centralize data, integrate departments, and qualify information. The
expectation is to strengthen student retention and guide data-driven decisions.

Booked, a livraria virtual que conecta leitores a autores independentes: implementação do front-end mobile do aplicativo booked com react native
This study aims to document the development of the mobile front-end of the Booked
application, a platform designed to foster interaction between readers and
independent authors in the digital environment. Considering the growth of literary
content consumption on mobile devices and the expansion of online reading
communities, the project proposed a technological solution that integrates reading,
interaction, and visibility within a single environment. The development was carried
out using React Native, TypeScript, and Expo, adopting a layered architecture with
separation between interface, state management logic, services, and visual
standardization. Global state management was implemented through the Context
API, combined with a unidirectional data flow to ensure structural organization and
predictability. UX/UI, usability, and accessibility principles were also applied. The
process was guided by the Scrum framework, allowing the iterative and incremental
evolution of functionalities. As a result, a functional mobile application was
developed, featuring multiple screens, API integration, real-time communication, and
a modular architecture aligned with best practices in mobile development.
