In a general conception, this research carries out a diagnosis in relation to the teaching of chemistry in the basic education network; This was observed from the perspective of the teacher and their respective qualifications, preparation and work methodologies. This is a parameterization regarding, mainly, the teacher training that secondary education is subject to and the minimum amount of qualification required. Dialoguing more specifically with the theme, the next subsection contextualizes the focus of the research. The research objectives are achieved through components of content analysis, diagnosis and improvement proposals, as noted in the paragraphs below. To direct this investigation, a mixed approach was chosen in order to be applied at the respective moments necessary in this investigation. The first moment focuses on the bibliographical review on the topic, seeking to compose authors and other studies of a scientific nature, and, therefore, highlighting what is available in the literature on the problem investigated here. Furthermore, for the second part of the research, data collection was carried out in the field, via questionnaire, which employs a quantitative-qualitative research approach with the aim of investigating the aforementioned problem. Quantitative research allows the collection and analysis of numerical data to identify patterns, relationships and other correlations, being an opportune paradigm for understanding participants' perceptions and opinions. In the specific context of state schools in Barreiros, Pernambuco, investigations revealed additional challenges. The disparity between public and private institutions, evidenced by the ENEM results, highlights the need to evaluate teacher training, as well as the structural conditions and resources available for teaching Chemistry. The lack of adequate laboratories and resources compromises experimental practice, essential for meaningful learning in this discipline. The implications of these findings are vast. It is proposed to implement continuing training programs adapted to the reality of Chemistry teaching. The promotion of pedagogical and interdisciplinary practices, combined with access to technological and experimental resources, are certainly a priority

Promoting the reading of labels with the help of teaching chemistry to encourage the habit of looking at the packaging when buying and consuming these foods, as a strategy for healthy eating education among children and adolescents. Based on this purpose of theoretical and practical knowledge, students of the Food Technician Course Integrated to High School - IFPE - Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology - Campus Barreiros (Cursos Técnico de Alimentos Integrado ao Ensino Médio – IFPE – Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia – Campus Barreiros, State of Pernambuco, Northeast Region, Brazil) were approached to analyze and carry out research practices on the subject. Using the methodology of individual interviews and group conversations, where the importance of good nutrition was discussed, the new changes in legislation in 2022, which were added with the way of printing the packages, taking the option of choosing when buying food with more clarity. In the food routine, more processed and industrialized foods were included within the scope of the Brazilian population, encouraged shortly after COVID 19 pandemic, who can develop chronic diseases such as high blood pressure, obesity, diabetes, kidney and cardiovascular diseases

The present work relates Neuroscience and Education showing important facts of the science of mind for teacher training. In addition, we present a study on how the brain processes learning and how the numerous didactic strategies can facilitate this process. Our research raised the importance of neuroscientific knowledge for teachers and their practices through the understanding of brain functions and how they can allow a healthy development of cognition. From there, we present a discussion about episodic, procedural, emotional, semantic and automatic memories and how they develop, presenting some possibilities of didactic strategies to be worked on in the classroom and that have the potential to develop all memories, which contributes positively to the teaching-learning process

In this work, analyzes of the water of the wells near the flour houses of the Benfica mill located in the rural area of the municipalities of Barreiros were carried out, where aiming to analyze the water of these wells to obtain necessary information to raise awareness. In that location, cassava residues, such as cassava, are improperly disposed of in the environment. With water in scarcity and possible levels of pollution, it is necessary to analyze the water to raise awareness in that region. The only source of water is through the artisanal waterholes that are close to the wand houses in that locality. The flour mills produce approximately 2,500 liters of cassava per month, which in turn is improperly disposed of very close to the artesian wells. Manipueira is a liquid extracted from cassava which is yellow in color when pressed during the flour manufacturing process. high concentration of hydrocyanic acid HCN found in manipueira, and the decomposition of the same since it is seen that it is discarded without control near water sources. In the first stage, water samples were collected from the three cacimba of the Benfica mill. This collection was carried out in three wells, all close to the flour houses. In the analysis, parameters such as: pH, chlorides, total coliform, thermotolerant coliforms and heterotrophic bacteria were evaluated. The classification of water potability was based on the parameters of the Ministry of Health Ordinance number 888 of December 4, 2021, which deals with the potability parameters of water for human consumption
