Inteligência artificial com ferramenta na gestão em saúde: revisão integrativa
Artificial Intelligence (AI) has become a strategic axis in the health sector, showing potential
to improve operational efficiency, optimize care, and reorganize workflows in the management
of health services. However, its incorporation is still permeated by ethical, regulatory, and
professional training challenges, which highlights the need to systematize the available
scientific evidence.
This study aimed to conduct a survey of artificial intelligence tools used in the management of
health services, describing their applications, benefits, and challenges. This is an integrative
literature review, conducted according to the methodological framework of Mendes, Silveira,
and Galvão (2008), developed in six stages.
The search was carried out in the PubMed and LILACS databases, through the Capes
Periodicals Portal, in November 2025, using the Population, Concept, and Context (PCC)
strategy. Initially, 5,000 records were identified. After removing duplicates and applying the
eligibility criteria, the titles, abstracts, and full texts were screened, resulting in the inclusion of
11 studies in the final sample.
The studies analyzed showed that AI has been used mainly to support decision-making
processes, strategic planning, resource allocation, and performance monitoring, with positive
repercussions on the efficiency and quality of health service management.
It is concluded that Artificial Intelligence has high potential to improve decision-making in
health management. However, multifactorial challenges persist that limit its practical application, revealing a gap between the recognition of the technology's relevance and its
effective implementation. The development of structured action plans, aligned with ethical
principles, adequate regulation, and continuous professional training strategies, is
recommended.

Saneamento básico e saúde pública: uma análise dos impactos socioeconômicos sob a ótica dos princípios ESG
This case study analyzes the socioeconomic impacts of the deficiency of basic sanitation in the municipality of Igarassu-PE under the perspective of the ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) principles. The objective is to evaluate the effects of the deficiency of basic sanitation in the municipalities of Igarassu-PE, in light of the ESG principles. The applied methodology has a qualitative and quantitative approach, grounded in documentary research and analysis of secondary data obtained from public bases and scientific articles. The results point to a critical scenario, with only 4.4% of sewage network coverage and 35.3% of the population without full access to treated water. This reality is reflected in 267 hospitalizations for water-borne diseases between 2023 and 2025, generating direct costs of approximately R$350 thousand to the Unified Health System (SUS) in the municipality. Under the ESG panorama, the analysis reveals failures in the environmental dimension by the compromise of the quality of natural resources and the local environmental balance, in the social by the responsibility of health and
equity, and in governance by the absence of a consolidated Municipal Sanitation Plan. It is concluded that there is a need to update and strengthen public sanitation policies, with actions more comprehensive than those set forth in the Pernambuco Sanitation Plan, since sanitation in Igarassu represents a strategic challenge for sustainable development, with direct impacts on public health, social equity, and the population’s quality of life. The study also highlights the importance of guiding future actions aimed at reducing negative impacts on environmental health, based on existing indicators and on improving the targets established by the National Information System on Sanitation and Solid Waste Management (SINISA) and the National Water and Basic Sanitation Agency (ANA) in the state of Pernambuco.

A formação acadêmica dos gestores hospitalares: um estudo comparativo entre projetos pedagógicos de curso de Institutos Federais de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia e as demandas do mercado de trabalho do setor público (2020-2025)
This study aimed to identify whether the Pedagogical Course Projects (PPCs) of
higher education programs in Hospital Management Technology, offered by Federal
Institutes of Education, Science and Technology, meet the competencies demanded
by the public service sector. This is a documentary, qualitative, and descriptive
research, developed based on the analysis of two sets of documents: public service
examination notices at the municipal, state, and federal levels published between
2020 and 2025, and PPCs of technological courses in Hospital Management offered
by Federal Institutions. The comparative analysis revealed significant convergences
between the training competencies outlined in the PPCs and the competencies
required in public examinations, especially regarding the management of people,
processes, projects, materials, quality, and operational sectors of health services,
indicating an education aligned with the generalist profile required for public
administration. However, relevant gaps were identified in areas such as hospital
logistics, technological innovation, leadership, and socioemotional competencies—
dimensions that have gained prominence in a health scenario marked by rapid
transformations, increasing digitalization, and post-pandemic healthcare challenges.
The results also highlighted the essential role of practical activities—internships,
extension programs, integrative projects, case studies, and laboratory practices—as
structuring elements of technological education, promoting the development of
professional autonomy, problem-solving skills, and critical understanding of the
health services network. It was also observed that the education offered by Federal
Institutes should consider territorial specificities, given that health is deeply
influenced by social determinants present in local, regional, and national realities;
thus, curricula sensitive to territorial demands become essential to prepare managers
capable of acting with technical relevance and social responsibility. It is concluded
that, although the analyzed PPCs present solid educational foundations consistent
with a significant portion of public sector demands, there is a need for continuous
updating, especially regarding the integration of emerging technologies,
strengthening of socioemotional competencies, and expansion of contextualized
professional practices. Such adjustments may contribute to training hospital
managers better prepared to address the contemporary challenges of Brazilian public
health

Análise documental de terceirização do trabalho administrativo na saúde pública de Pernambuco no período de (2020-2022)
This article analyzes the outsourcing of administrative work in public health in the State of Pernambuco between the years 2020 and 2022, a period marked by the emergency demands resulting from the Covid-19 pandemic. The objective of the study is to understand the evolution and characteristics of the outsourcing of administrative activities within the scope of public health management. This is a qualitative, exploratory study based on the documentary analysis of administrative contracts signed by the Pernambuco State Health Department. The documents were collected from official databases, organized chronologically and analyzed according to object, duration, contracted companies and functions performed. The results show that outsourcing has become a strategy to ensure the continuity of administrative and support services, especially in areas such as reception, warehouse management, clerical work and administrative assistance. Contract extensions and amendments were also observed, indicating a dependence on this model and challenges related to supervision, transparency and working conditions. It is concluded that, although outsourcing has contributed to maintaining services in a
critical context, it also presents challenges for public management and for the social protection of workers.
