Turistando pelas telas : o despertar do sentimento de pertencimento dos alunos de gestão de turismo e dos moradores da capital Pernambucana

Abstract

This study deals with the proposal of an event regarding the areas of tourism, cinema and education, its title being "Turistando pelas telas: o despertar do sentimento de pertencimento dos alunos de gestão de turismo e dos moradores da capital pernambucana”. The goal of this project is to promote Pernambuco's cinema as an element in the state's cultural heritage, also using it as an important factor when it comes to attracting tourists. In order to do that, this project proposes the creation of an event (aimed mainly at students, as well as to the local community and tourists) that allows the exhibition of short films from Pernambuco, as well as the execution of a tourist route, workshops and exhibitions based on the pictures previously presented. Thus, the project was developed through a bibliographical research on the topics covered, the analysis and selection of films made in Pernambuco, the direct and indirect observation of the possible places for the execution of the event, and also the application of questionnaires (online and in field) for students and local residents. It was obtained, through the results, a confirmation that there is a devaluation of cinema as a cultural patrimony of the state of Pernambuco, and it was also concluded that an event like this is something rarely executed and unusual in the state's reality. In summary, the festival promotes a moment of knowledge exchange between professionals and students from various areas, contributing to the strengthening of the sense of belonging of the ones involved.
