Festival de teatro online: dimensão ao desenvolvimento do Turismo Cultural

Abstract

This Course Completion paper proposes an online theater festival for Recife, aiming to assist in the development of cultural tourism in the city, a segment that still needs many actions for better use. In the theoretical construction, we walk together with very important authors, from the tourist field, such as Richards, Irving, institutions such as OMT and PromPerú, as well as in the theater segment, such as Boal and Nogueira. An event such as a theater festival can contribute to the development of the economy, culture, politics and autonomy of the city's communities, thus being able to contribute one of the objectives of this work, to develop Recife's cultural tourism. To assist in carrying out the work, we used as methodology a bibliographic survey, as well as interview, questionnaire and direct observation. It was possible to identify the need for actions that promote cultural activities in the city, especially with regard to theater, as well as the availability of materials and human interest in participating.
