Abstract

The Leisure Tourism is one of the most sought tourism segments and is in great evidence in the city of Recife, and for this reason and considering its importance, it was sought to carry out a project that was able to work into leisure as an escape from the everyday life and of management that leads people to look for activities that provide personal pleasure and satisfaction. In this situation, Geraldão stood out as a public space of leisure for being a meeting place throughout the week. It was identified that the specific places for leisure activities often present high cost and it is not accessible to the whole population, whereas in some regions the leisure places are full of diverse activities, causing a competition for space between the groups of a particular leisure. A demand interest research was carried out, a survey of the resources and materials needed for the execution of the plan, an analysis of the strengths and weaknesses of the space, possible supporters and sponsors were identified, using an approach that has as its central theme the use of skating as a leisure practice at Geraldo Magalhães Sports Gymnasium, seeking to find concrete information that would provide a foundation and certify the feasibility of carrying out a project of this nature in a safe and adequate way within the understanding of what is tourism and leisure. Relate to a list of companies and facilities that can be run as supporters of their names or types of accounts that may be carried out in their names as sponsors. Based on the research, it is considered that the Patina Geral is a project of simple execution and adaptation, that has the potential to become another leisure option of the city of Recife able to develop the local economy and still offer to the population the opportunity to do the skating activity in a fun and safe way. It is also concluded that there are no impediments to this, provided that each step is carried out in a manner appropriate to the circumstances, aiming to achieve the objectives with conscience and seriousness.
