Resumo
The civil construction sector, especially in times of crisis, faces challenges and demands in
the quest to increase productivity, lower costs and meet shorter delivery times. In this context,
the present work aims to apply a hybrid multicriteria model, in three projects, to choose the
construction system of masonry of fence, being the systems compared: the one of ceramic
block, the one of concrete block without structural function and the one of drywall From the
bibliographic review, a questionnaire was developed, answering the managers of each
construction, to assist in the identification of criteria and their respective importance, for
different segments of civil works, on the choice of construction systems. The data obtained in
an interview were used in the proposed hybrid decision support model, which is based on two
multi-criteria methods: the AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) and the PROMETHEE II. This
application allowed to prioritize the criteria in the choice of the masonry system of fence and
to select the most suitable alternative. The contribution of this work is to help managers, in
the construction industry, to know and apply multicriteria methods before the beginning of the
work, in the planning phase, in order to minimize the chances of problems arising from the
inadequate technological choice for the type of work. With this, make possible a more
assertive decision to be aligned with the strategic objectives of the enterprise.
